At the top of the page, you'll see a tab for resources as well as one for services.
The resources tab will provide links to our catalog, eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming video, research guides, citation guides, and instructional videos.
The services tab will have links to request research help, reserve a study room, or rent a Chromebook or internet hotspot.
Finding Resources
You can utilize this global search bar on the library homepage, however for best search results it is recommend you use the following links-
To Find Books:
Click on Search Library Catalogto locate physical library materials within the Library Resource Center or our North Carolina Community College Library network.
Your library account information for placing holds is:
Username: ST + Seven Digit Student ID (i.e. ST0123456)
Password: Four digit PIN. If unsure, it is probably 1234
To Find Scholarly Research Articles:
Click on the A-Z Database List link to find a list of databases and search for scholarly research articles.
Proquest Centralis the go-to database to access full-text, scholarly articles for a variety of subjects.
You can also click on the Resources tab and selectResearch Guides for a carefully curated list of resources specific to different classes and subjects. These guides are not just for humanities classes! Check out our math and science guides too!
